Raymond Theodore Robinson, known as the Green Man or Charlie No-Face, was a disfigured American man whose years of nighttime walks made him into a figure of urban legend in western Pennsylvania. Robinson was severely injured in a childhood electrical accident, to the point that he could not go out in public without fear of causing a panic, so he went for long walks at night along State Route 351. Local tourists would drive along the road in hopes of meeting him, but most were disappointed to see that no such person appeared along the side of the road. Nonetheless, people passed on tales about him to their children and grandchildren. People raised on these tales are sometimes surprised to discover that he was a real person who was loved by his family and neighbors. The man could not leave his home during the day, afraid of scaring children and other people so he decided to only leave during night.
